I found Let’s Get Social online quilt guild and Rachel through a Facebook invitation. I was seeking a way to meet other quilters, to be inspired, and to share what I was working on. The monthly Zoom meetings are a great way to allow quilters all over the country to connect with one another over our shared passions of quilting. Rachel is a wonderful hostess; encouraging everyone, providing tips and tricks, and answering questions based on all her experience and expertise. In between meetings, we can also share our photos or questions on the Your Quilting Journey Show and Tell Facebook page. The Let’s Get Social community is an active, supportive, and inspiring group of quilters and I am glad to be a member.

Being a single working grandma raising 3 kiddos, Rachel, Journey Back Quilts and her Virtual Quilt Guild are perfect for me. In fact, the first Thursday of the month is the best day of my month. The first Thursday, I can log on, enjoy myself and be encouraged by Rachel and the others logging on. I even found a quilting buddy down the road just a couple of miles. I know that when I am able to slow down and get back to sewing, Rachel and Journey Back Quilts will be there to cheer me on.
